About Tyson

Tyson Miller grew up on the North Shore of Boston and knew that Lighting Design was the path for him at a young age. Graduating in 2015 from Ohio Northern University with a BFA in International Theatre Production and a BA in History Tyson was able to pursue Lighting full time. His academic and professional history has taken him to all parts of the United States, the Middle East, and parts of Europe.

Tyson's approach to lighting design might be described as a bit orthodox--to bring a sense of unity in a world that seems to grow further apart each day. This is to say that he seeks to use light as a tool to bring time and space together, if only for a moment, in a world that ceaselessly pushes forward.

When not working on a production you will likely find Tyson going out for a run, drinking tea, or reading a book or  newspaper (yes he still subscribes to a paper!)
